About
Meet Managing Director of Hampton Aircraft Finance, Paul Sykes. Paul has 19 years of customer-facing front-line experience for top tier financiers and aviation industry participants. He has acted as a lender, lessor, borrower, and lessee, and been involved in funding over $1Bn of helicopter and business jet assets globally.

Starting his career with RBS Aviation Capital in New York, his career has seen him work for the Royal Bank of Scotland’s aviation-focused business in London, CHC Helicopter in Vancouver, GE Capital, AirFinance and most recently for captive aviation lender, Textron Financial. As well as originating new business, Paul has held roles across credit and portfolio management functions giving him 'cradle to grave' insight on transactions.
Paul has worked with lease, debt, export credit and bespoke private equity funding solutions and is well positioned to help you get the best out of your financing, whether that be assessing your options to fund a new aircraft, releasing equity from an existing aircraft or refinancing a forthcoming balloon payment.
